Instructed users on how to use their new system and solved any hardware and/or software malfunctions, and problem. Provided 2nd level support for day to day operation.

Setup and maintained three DEC hubs, Dec Alpha 1000A server, 55 PC's, network and local printers and provided support for 120 users. Maintained an Option 11 phone system from Nortel. The operating systems I supported include VMS, NT. Also provided setup and maintains support for 5 other Asian sites when needed.

Duties included monitoring of a VAX/VMS cluster system, monitor daily backups, restore files per users requests, add users and modify their levels of access, troubleshoot PCs, installing and upgrading software, moving, setting up and testing PCs, printers, and other peripherals, move phone equipment, answer Helpdesk calls after hours and handle overseas calls.
